Sylvia and Mira – Loons

Description

This is a small painting of a Common Loon with her chick. The chicks are often seen on the back of the parents when they are young. It was an incredible site to see loons up close while drifting along in the canoe. A driftwood frame accents the painting making the frame part of the art. overall size is 11×8 and the paper size is 8×6.

After I finish a piece I name them, in this case Sylvia and Mira, to help keep track of them on the web site.
